The Fix Music Company studio

I own and operate a live-in music studio on Estero Island in the Gulf of Mexico (southwest Florida).  The Fix Music Company offers dedicated music production for clients by invitation or referral only.  We are a private studio and are not open to the public.  Contact me for information regarding invitations or referrals.

For our select clients we do offer complimentary car service transportation to and from the airport.  We have lodging available at the studio for a fee or can provide other recommendations from beach houses to five star resorts.  The sunsets are complimentary with every session.

Featuring recording and editing up to 24bit/96kHz resolution.  This studio is designed for solo artists and small groups.  Singer songwriters, instrumentalists, experimental, trip hop, and other acoustic/electric mediums are the specialties of The Fix Music Company.

K-SEA – “Lost at C” – Recorded and produced by Trevor Pontz.
First official release by Kris West/K-SEA.  He played every instrument live in the studio.  First official release by the Fix Music Company Island Studio.  Planning for the CD started October, 2016 with live tracking starting in November.  Live tracking continued 2-3x per week from November through the holidays until March 11, 2017 when it was sent for mixing and final mastering. Album was released April 20, 2017.


Edwin Tichenor – “Mechanicsburg Sessions 2007” – Recorded and produced by Trevor Pontz.  Three song EP from the Fix Music Company archives released online only.  Never before released.Edwin recorded the three songs on January 11th, 2007 in my 3rd floor Mechanicsburg, PA recording studio.

Explorer PoncedeLeon – “Invisible Empires” – First official Elfinmuseik release.  My 3rd original music CD. Combining elements from both EDM and industrial rock, “Invisible Empires” is a trip-hop masterwork heavy on trance, looped samples, and message.  Hand-numbered by myself they are limited edition #1-50.  Released January, 1999.

Explorer PoncedeLeon – “October 1998” – 9 original tracks of original trip hop recorded digital in Acid Pro and mastered.

Explorer PoncedeLeon – “September 1998” – There is an entire album of recording associated with Sept 98 but it was never released to the public.


Explorer PoncedeLeon – “August 1998” – First CD release manufactured in my home.  9 tracks of original trip hop recorded on 4 track cassette tape and transferred to digital in Acid Pro and mastered. This was my first proper original album, all instrumental, recorded analog, converted digital, burned in my living room.

The Trevor Solo Project – “Grow Hemp for the War” – First ever recordings and first ever original music from Trevor Pontz.  Recorded with my first multi-track cassette tape recorder, a Tascam Porta 05 Mini Studio, on multiple sessions on 11/8/96, 11/11/96, 11/21/96, 3/18/97, and 3/19/97.  The sessions featured myself on guitar and vocals playing a mixture of covers and originals.  Only a handful were released as mixtapes to friends and family in March 1997.
